RReal Randomizer

About Real Randomizer

Real Randomizer gives you simple tools for fair, everyday choices. You can pick a name, roll dice, shuffle a list, make teams, choose dates, and more.

Why we built this site

Random choices can save time and reduce arguments. But the rules should be easy to see. Each page tells you what the tool does, how to use it, and where its limits are.

You do not need an account. Open a tool, enter what you need, and make a result.

How a result is made

Your browser has a secure source of random values. Our tools use that source to choose a result. For a number range, the code also avoids a small math problem that could make some numbers appear more often than others.

A wheel, coin, or dice animation only shows the result. The animation does not choose the winner.

Your entries stay on your device

Names, lists, choices, and generated passwords are handled in your browser. We do not ask you to upload them. We also do not require you to sign in to use a public tool.

It is still wise to avoid typing private or secret information when you do not need it.

What the tools are for

People can use Real Randomizer for classes, games, teams, simple samples, software tests, and low-stakes decisions. A teacher might pick a student. A team might set a speaking order. A developer might make sample IDs or dates.

What the tools are not for

Do not use this site in place of an approved system for elections, regulated lotteries, medical choices, legal decisions, or safety work. Those jobs need special rules, records, and expert review.
